Graduates of SAIT's Travel and Tourism diploma program may be awarded up to 48 transfer credits towards Capilano University’s 120 credit Bachelor of Tourism Management (BTM) degree. Completion of the SAIT diploma does not imply guaranteed admission or preferential entry to the receiving institution. SAIT students will have to meet the entry requirements of the receiving institution to be accepted into the BTM program. The minimum GPA is 3.0 or equivalent. Updated April 23, 2010.

SAIT graduates of the 2-year Travel and Tourism diploma are eligible to enter Stage 3 of this degree program provided all admission requirements are met (GPA 3.0, reference from SAIT School of Hospitality and Tourism, satisfactory evidence of English proficiency, and eligibility to obtain the required study visa) at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland. Graduates of SAIT’s Travel and Tourism diploma are eligible to receive block transfer into the third year of the Bachelor of Arts in Global Tourism Management (BGTM) provided all other entrance criteria are met and space remains available in the program. The BGTM focuses on global tourism opportunities, trends and issues to ensure you have the tools and knowledge to advance your career in the tourism and hospitality industry within Canada or Worldwide.
